About Lachie Roy Ag Contracting

Lachie Roy Ag Contracting is an Ouse-based agricultural earthmoving business supporting farm development throughout Tasmania. Drawing on extensive hands-on agricultural experience, we combine tractor scraper work, paddock preparation and rough clearing to help rural property owners complete practical improvements.

Agricultural experience and specialised farm equipment

We work across rural site preparation, surface rock picking, land clearing, dam earthworks and field preparation. Our agricultural focus means discussing soil conditions, access and the intended land use before choosing equipment. Our 300 HP Case tractor and scraper bucket support paddock shaping, while our discs and rock picker help prepare working farmland.

Supporting Tasmanian farmers and rural landowners

We are based in Ouse and regularly consider farm projects along the corridor to Launceston. We can discuss appropriate jobs in other parts of Tasmania depending on the work involved.

Why choose Lachie Roy Ag Contracting

Our machinery and transport equipment includes a 300 HP Case tractor with a 3.5 m scraper bucket, discs and rock picker; a 17.5-tonne Case track dozer; and a 20-tonne Sany excavator for rough farm and quarry clearing. We also have a prime mover with a 25-tonne tri-axle drop deck float and a tipper truck with superdog trailer. Our 500 HP Case Steiger tractor is part of the fleet and is currently undergoing maintenance.
